I find that if I tried to just install without uninstalling first it tells me I have a corrupt install package. in any case just rename to .2Ĥ - I returned to the Application list in Android settings, and uninstalled Kodi. Then you can manipulate the file or folder selected using the buttons at the top of the app. On mine, I have the File Browser app that you need to manually enable file options by selecting the option (mine is a button right beside the home button in the app). I went to Kodi and hit Force Stop.Ģ - With the File Browser on my Android box (NOT the Kodi file manager!), I went to storage/emulated/0/android/data (you will probably see it as Local Disk -> Android -> Data).ģ - I then renamed to .2 - To do this will vary depending on device. Here's what I did.ġ - As soon as I got the message on Kodi 19.0 Matrix that all add-ons were disabled due to incompatibility, I went to the Application list in my Android settings.
All you need is the installer for Kodi 18.9 which you can get from and you need to be able to force stop Kodi and edit a folder/directory name. However, if you have an Android box there should be an easy way to fix this without having to manually reinstall repos and apps etc. Like an idiot, I never disabled automatic updates for Google Play and got hit with this a short while ago.
